CHILDREN'S SERVICES - TRADITIONAL THERAPY SERVICES
Traditional Therapy services at the agency include physical, occupational and speech-language therapies for infants and children with cerebral palsy and other neuromuscular disorders. Our team-based therapy services often involve two or more therapists working in tandem. Therapists use a variety of equipment and treatment modalities to enhance the child's overall development with regard to completion of functional tasks (e.g. Therasuit, Universal Exercise Unit, pediatric treadmill with "Lite-Gait", functional electrical stimulation and threshold electrical stimulation.)
Services are coordinated through our Family Services Counselor, who also provides information, referral and counseling to families. United Cerebral Palsy also conducts a variety of workshops for professionals and families.
