VOCATIONAL SERVICES
United Cerebral Palsy's Vocational Services division offers an array of facility-based and community employment services to assist people with cerebral palsy and other disabilities in overcoming barriers to employment.
The Vocational Services staff helps people find jobs that match their skills and preferences. Rehabilitation and employment professionals work closely with individuals to develop a responsible work ethic along with performance and interpersonal skills. Through transitional skills training and paid work opportunities, adults learn the skills they need to find and keep a job.
An individual must be at least 18 years old and able to coordinate services such as personal care, transportation and self-medication in order to participate in organizational and community employment services through United Cerebral Palsy.
Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities (CCBDD) eligibility and referral qualify individuals for the agency's adult day support program.
