UCP of Greater Cleveland 61st Annual Meeting to be held May 5th

UCP is pleased to announce the agency’s 61st Annual Meeting on May 5, 2011 at Mayfield Country Club. The evening is expected to attract over 150 agency stakeholders including donors, volunteers, employees, clients and agency partners.

The Board of Directors will present the 2010 Report to the Community, as well as debut the new agency video and officially launch UCP’s new website. The Annual Meeting serves as an opportunity to share the agency’s successes and challenges with the community, as well as to pay tribute to the hard work and dedication of clients, partners and employees. Five clients will be presented with the Boots Fisher Memorial Award, an honor given to a client in each service area who has made remarkable strides towards being more independent throughout the past year. The following clients will be recognized for their advancements in 2010 and 2011: Saphire, Children’s Services; Yolanda, Organizational Employment; Christian, Community Employment; Kyle, Adult Day Support; Tim, Residential Services. The Oatey Company will be presented with the Employer of the Year Award in recognition of their long-standing commitment to employing individuals with disabilities and their advocacy efforts on behalf of the clients of UCP. Twenty-seven UCP employees will receive service awards, noting five, ten and fifteen years of service.
