Harvest for Hunger Intergenerational Carnival Extravaganza – March 10

You are invited to UCP of Greater Cleveland’s Carnival Extravaganza fundraiser to raise money and canned goods for Harvest for Hunger on Monday, March 10, 2014 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The carnival is a partnership between the agency’s clients and students from Hawken School. A select group of UCP of Greater Cleveland’s clients are part of the Giving Back Group, a group that focuses on how they can make the world a better place, one good deed at a time.

The Giving Back Group is client led and is in charge of UCP of Greater Cleveland’s Harvest for Hunger campaign. Last year the group raised over $1,200.00 and collected more than 300 pounds of food.

This year the clients were eager to collaborate with Hawken School to organize the intergenerational carnival fundraiser. Games and festivities include putt-putt golf, corn hole, bowling, face painting, tattoos, a photo booth and a prize raffle. Game tickets will be sold for $1.00 per ticket. Popcorn and drinks will also be sold.

If you cannot make it to the carnival but would still like to support the Giving Back Group’s Harvest for Hunger efforts, you can purchase Malley’s Easter candy now through April 17.  Just visit The Giving Back Group Malley’s website at www.malleys.com/crystal-winters. Nothing tastes sweeter than chocolate purchased for a good cause!
