New “Easy Street” Room Opens at Highland Hills Location

EasyStreet_Pstcrd_v3UCP of Greater Cleveland’s specialized senior Adult Day Support Program, Easy Street, is expanding to our Highland Hills location this coming Monday, February 2nd.

This activities-based program serves individuals with a wide variety of disabilities, ages fifty and older. Programming includes activities that appeal to seniors as well as opportunities for intergenerational events and community integration. The goal is to maintain skills that enhance quality of life, including physical, mental and social skills. Clients interact with friends and peers while receiving support in areas such as mobility, daily living, personal care and community awareness. Some of the activities include gardening, scrapbooking, wheelchair Tai Chi, art therapy and community outings to places such as museums, parks, libraries and sporting events.

There are currently six to nine openings at the Highland Hills location. Interested parties should contact Natalie Kutina, Adult Day Support Manager, at (216) 791-8363 ext. 1283 or nkutina@ucpcleveland.org.
