Ohio Arts Council awards UCP Arts Sustainability Grant to continue and expand arts programming for children and adults with disabilities

We are excited to announce that the Ohio Arts Council (OAC) awarded UCP a sustainability grant in the amount of $14,680 to continue and expand UCP arts programming for children and adults with disabilities! More than 100 participants in OakLeaf Adult Day Services and the LeafBridge Alternative Education Program will benefit from their support through music therapy, art therapy, tai chi and more. These funds are critical to allow us to continue the programing we are already providing, reengage contracted professionals who we used pre-pandemic, as well as bring in new forms of arts programming to these individuals.

UCP of Greater Cleveland’s Arts Programming is made possible in part by state tax dollars allocated by the Ohio Legislature to the Ohio Arts Council (OAC). The OAC is a state agency that funds and supports quality arts experiences to strengthen Ohio communities culturally, educationally, and economically.
