Community-Sponsored Events

Throughout the year, individuals from the community create fundraising events to support the mission of UCP of Greater Cleveland.  While these are not agency-sponsored events, they raise thousands of dollars each year to sustain and expand upon programming.

Upcoming community-sponsored events include:

Chick-fil-A Spirit Day for Team Kenna – On Thursday, March 30 from 6:30am – 10:00pm, come out and support Team Kenna as they raise funds for UCP of Greater Cleveland during Spirit Day at Chick-fil-A Mentor (9611 Mentor Avenue)! Just mention that you are there for Spirit Day and Chick-fil-A Mentor will donate a portion of your sale to UCP of Greater Cleveland!

“PODD Communication Book” Two Day Introductory Course – This two day course, held June 19 and 20 from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm at UCP of Greater Cleveland headquarters, will will demonstrate the use of a Pragmatic Organization Dynamic Display (PODD) communication book. Come learn strategies for creating multi-modal language learning environments that provide receptive models and expressive opportunities for language development for children who have complex communication needs or have only limited speech. CEUS: 13 credit hours earned

ADA Day 2017 – ADA Day 2017 will be held on Wednesday, July 26 from 4:00pm – 9:00pm in Wade Oval in University Circle. From 4-6pm will be the ADA Fest Activities and Resource Fair, and then from 6-9pm will be the WOW! Concert. This is event is free and open to the public.
